Samsung has been improving Samsung Pay quite a bit lately with the addition of many new banks, and today Samsung Pay is getting beefed up yet again.
Samsung Pay now supports membership and loyalty cards, letting you lighten your wallet even further. You can load up gym, drug store, grocery store, and other retailer cards, and Samsung says that you can add your insurance and ID cards, too. When you’re ready to use your card at a store, you simply select the card from the Samsung Pay app and have the merchant scan the barcode on your screen.
While being able to store your credit and debit cards in Samsung Pay is nice, Samsung says that the average American household has nearly 30 loyalty cards, so today’s Samsung Pay update could help lighten your wallet’s load even more than before. If you’re a Samsung Pay user, you’ll definitely want to grab this update and load up your membership and loyalty cards into the app. Once you do, be sure to come back and let us know how it works for you!
