When the Nextbit Robin first hit Kickstarter last September, there was a limited number of early bird units priced at $299, a full $100 off the Robin’s normal asking price. If you missed out on that special offer, though, you’ll be getting another chance this week.
The Nextbit Robin will be available for $299.99 starting at 12:00 am PT/3:00 am ET on May 4 through May 10. That price will be available on Amazon, and Prime members will be able to get free two-day shipping with their cloud-centric smartphone, too.
This is a nice deal on the Robin. Not only are you paying the same price as early Kickstarter backers, but you’re getting that early backer price months after the phone was released. That means that Nextbit has had time to iron out any bugs that might’ve popped up following launch, and they’ve also updated the Robin to Android 6.0.1, which includes improved battery life and camera performance.
