There’s some good news today about the BlackBerry Priv Android 6.0 beta test, both for folks already in it and T-Mobile customers still waiting to get in.
Nathan Webster, a manager for BlackBerry’s Beta Program, has announced that T-Mobile Priv owners that’ve enrolled in the Marshmallow beta test will get their invites to the program in 24 hours. Meanwhile, folks that are already testing Marshmallow on their Priv should be getting another update right about now.
@BlackBerry #PRIVMarshmallowBeta check for an update as we have set you up with another build. @TMobile registrants: invites coming in 24h

BlackBerry kicked off its Priv Android 6.0 beta testing earlier this month, and it expects that testing will run for 4-8 weeks. It’s unclear when the update’s public rollout will begin.
Android 6.0 includes new features like Google Now on Tap and improved app permissions. We’ll have to wait and see what extra goodies, if any, BlackBerry puts into its Marshmallow update for the Priv, so hopefully this beta test goes smoothly and the full rollout starts shortly after it’s over.
