AT&T today began taking pre-orders for two LG devices, including one that was previously canceled but has returned from the dead.
First up, the LG G5 is now available for pre-order from AT&T. LG’s new Android flagship in Silver, Gold, Pink, and Titan colors, with pricing starting at $0 down and 30 monthly payments of $22.97 with AT&T Next 24. Full retail price for AT&T’s LG G5 is $688.99.
AT&T has also announcing a Buy One, Get One offer for the LG G5. The deal is open to new and existing AT&T subscribers, but while the first phone can be purchased as an upgrade, the second must be a new line. Both phones must be purchased on AT&T Next installment plans and put on a qualifying plan. Once you meet all of the criteria, you can get your two phones and you’ll start to receive $689 in bill credits spread out over 30 months. Those credits will cover the cost of the second G5.
AT&T is also now taking pre-orders for the LG Watch Urbane 2nd Edition LTE, an Android Wear smartwatch that was announced last September but then canceled in November due to a hardware issue. Apparently that issue, whatever it was, has been taken care of.
AT&T’s pricing for the LG Watch Urbane 2nd Edition LTE — which is still a mouthful — is set at $0 down and 20 monthly payments of $18. You can also snag one for $99.99 on a two-year contract when you buy an LG G5, $199.99 with a two-year contract sans G5, or $359.99 full retail. If you do get an LG Watch Urbane 2nd Edition LTE, you can add it to an AT&T Monthly Share Value Plan for $10 per month.
The LG Watch Urbane 2nd Edition LTE is a nice-looking Android Wear smartwatch, offering a metal body and fully round display that helps it to resemble an analog watch. And while it’s not technically a new device, it’s nice to see it launching after all rather than getting permanently canned. Also of note is that the LG Watch Urbane 2nd Edition LTE offers AT&T NumberSync support, which lets you send and receive texts and phone calls from your watch using the same number as your phone, even if your phone isn’t nearby.
