A new feature for Google Maps for Android is rolling out, and it aims to make your mapping experience a bit more personal.
With the new Google Maps for Android, you can customize how your work and home appear on the map using stickers. There are lots of different stickers that you can slap onto your map, including a farm, castle, igloo, lighthouse, submarine, and a dragon.
Sure, adding a sticker to your map won’t help you get there faster or anything like that, but they do give a fun way to personalize your Google Maps experience. And there are a lot of stickers to choose from, so if you do decide to sticker up your home or work, you should be able to find one that you like.
Google also notes that you can label places other than your home and work. To label a place, type an address in and hit the “Add label” button in the three-dot menu located on the place’s page. You can then label it whatever you’d like. This will help you to more quickly navigate to those places in the future.
