If you’ve got a Nexus 5X, you’re going to want to keep an eye out for a new update that started rolling out today, March 8.
Orrin, a Nexus Community Manager, today announced on Reddit that the Nexus 5X’s new over the air update includes a number of stability, connectivity, and performance improvements. The update also includes Google’s March security update. Here are some of the issues that this update will address:
- General slow/sluggish performance
- DND next alarm disappearing issue
- Improvements with Bluetooth
- WiFi connectivity improvements
- Carrier-specific bug fixes
So yeah, this looks like an update that you Nexus 5X owners are going to want to keep an eye out for. It’s starting to roll out today, but these software updates typically go out in phases, so it may take some time to appear on your device. If you want to check to see if the update is available for your device, you can go into Settings > About phone > System updates > Check for update.
