The HTC One M10 has been the focus of many of the HTC-related leaks lately, but today another device is in the spotlight.
Images of the “HTC A16” have been posted by Evan Blass. The renders show a device that looks like it’d be a member of HTC’s Desire line, which typically consists of low-end and mid-range hardware. There are six different color options for the A16, according to the leaked images, including some models that have a sort of starry night design.

While Blass’s tweet didn’t include any specs for the HTC A16, well-known HTC leaker @LlabTooFeR shared some features of the A16 following the image leak. According to them, the A16 will include a 5-inch 1280x720 display, 8-megapixel rear and 5-megapixel front cameras, 8GB of built-in storage, a microSD slot for adding more storage, and 1.5GB of RAM. The A16 will reportedly be powered by a 2200mAh battery and Snapdragon 200 processor.
There’s no word on when the HTC A16 might be announced, but given Blass’s tweet and the fact that MWC 2016 is kicking off this week, it’s possible that we’ll see an official announcement soon. The A16’s rumored specs aren’t going to melt your face off, but its decent feature set and nice design could make it an interesting low-cost option whenever it hits store shelves.
