If you’ve got an LG G4 on T-Mobile, your weekend is about to get much better.
T-Mobile is now pushing Android 6.0 to its version of the LG G4. The update is 963MB, so you’ll probably want to connect to Wi-Fi before you start downloading it. To check for the update, go into your Settings app > About phone > Update Center > System updates > CHECK FOR UPDATE.
The Android 6.0 update is version H81120i. As for what’s included, you’ll find messaging security improvements as well as a bump to Android 6.0 and all of the goodies that come with it, like Doze battery saving and improved app permissions.
While it may not offer much in the way of user interface changes, Android 6.0 is still a notable update because of features like Doze, which can help stretch your phone’s battery life. And hey, what Android user doesn’t want to be on the latest version of their OS?
