US Cellular today unleashed some new prepaid plans and a promotion for its prepaid customers.
First up, there are three new Simple Connect Prepaid plans for smartphones. The base plan offers unlimited talk, text, and 500MB of high-speed data, and costs $35 per month. The $45 plan bumps the high-speed data allotment to 2GB, while the $60 plan includes 5GB of high-speed data. Once all of that high-speed data is used up, speeds will be slowed to 1x for the remainder of that billing cycle.
US Cellular is also kicking off a “Double Your Money” promo for prepaid folk. Customers that spend $50 toward their prepaid plan will get another $50 in credit that will be spread out in $5 increments over 10 months.
Rounding outs its new offers, US Cellular will give prepaid customers a free LG Logos (shown below). The device comes with a $50 mail-in rebate that’ll cover the cost of the device.
