When Sprint launched its most recent switcher promotion, which promises to cut your rate plan in half when you jump to Sprint, it said that the promo would run through January 8. Well now that date has been pushed back a bit.
Sprint’s switcher promo has been extended through February 11. With the offer, you can switch to Sprint and you’ll select a rate plan that’s half off your old carrier’s plans. To qualify, you’ll need to switch to Sprint from AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, Cricket, or MetroPCS and then get a new device on Sprint Lease, Sprint Easy Pay, iPhone Forever, or full retail price. You can also bring your own Sprint-friendly device if you have one.
If you do take advantage of Sprint’s switcher offer, you’ll be able to keep your discounted rate plan until January 8, 2018.
If you’ve been thinking about jumping ship from your current carrier, Sprint’s half off deal could be worth considering. Just like any other time that you consider switch carriers, though, you should do research to see what Sprint’s coverage in your area is like. And if it turns out to be alright, you can get yourself a deal on a Sprint monthly rate plan for the next two years.
