The Google Store doesn’t seem to be having any issues with keeping the Nexus 6P in stock lately, but just in case you needed another way to buy Google and Huawei’s Nexus, you’ve now got one.
Best Buy is now selling the 64GB Nexus 6P in Aluminum. Pricing is set at $499.99, the same sale price that Google is currently asking for the 6P. Unfortunately, Best Buy is out of stock as of this writing, but that could change at any time, so you may want to keep an eye on the store. As for in-store availability, Best Buy’s site did show that most stores should have stock on January 6, but that date has now been removed.
So why might you buy the Nexus 6P from Best Buy instead of Google? If you’re a member of Best Buy’s Reward Zone, buying the $500 6P will net you some reward certificates that you could put towards other goodies at BBY. And once January 6 rolls around, you could just buy the 6P online and then pick it up from a nearby store that same day.
In other Nexus 6P news, the same rumor that claimed that the 6P would soon be available from Best Buy also mentioned that the gold 6P — which is currently only available in Japan and India — would be released in the US. The gold 6P isn’t available from Best Buy or Google in the US, though it certainly could be at some point soon. US folk will just have to continue to wait.
