Samsung Galaxy Note 5 Winter Edition comes with 128GB of storage

Samsung is no stranger to launching special editions of its smartphones, and today it did just that with the Galaxy Note 5.

The Galaxy Note 5 Winter Edition is now officially official, and the big change is that it offers 128GB of built-in storage. One other change between the standard Note 5 and the Winter Edition is that, while the regular Note 5 has a Samsung logo sitting right beneath its rear camera, the Winter Edition’s Samsung logo is located closer to the bottom of its backside.

The Galaxy Note 5 Winter Edition will be sold in Gold Platinum and Silver Titanium color options. It’ll launch in South Korea through carriers SK Telecom and KT at a price of 999,900 Won, or approximately $847 USD.

When the Galaxy Note 5 was first introduced, there was some confusion as to whether or not Samsung would offer a 128GB version. While the company’s website listed such a model, Samsung later said that that was an error. Fast-forward to today, though, and it appears that Samsung has indeed created a 128GB Note 5. That additional storage could convince a lot of folks to buy the Winter Edition, including existing Note 5 users, because the Note 5 lacks expandable storage. Unfortunately, there’s no word yet on when or if the Note 5 Winter Edition will make its way to markets outside of South Korea.

Would you buy the Note 5 Winter Edition if it were offered in your country?
