When AT&T originally launched the Samsung Galaxy S6 active back in June, the phone only came with 32GB of storage. Fast-forward nearly six months, though, and a more capacious version of the S6 active has been released.
A 64GB version of the Samsung Galaxy S6 active is now being sold by AT&T. This model looks identical to the 32GB S6 active that’s been available since June, right down to the color selection. The only differences are the added storage and the increased price. The 64GB S6 active is $229.99 with a two-year contract, $100 more than the 32GB model. If you’d prefer to go the AT&T Next route, pricing for the 64GB model starts at $23.17 per month, up from $19.84 for the 32GB version.
Samsung has offered the Galaxy S6 in a few different memory sizes since its launch, so it’s nice to see that the Galaxy S6 active is finally getting a model with added storage, too. That’s especially true when you remember that, like the regular Galaxy S6, the S6 active lacks a microSD slot for adding more storage.
