If you picked up a new Apple TV when the device launched last month, it’s time for you to update the box for the very first time.
Apple just released tvOS 9.0.1, the first software update for the new Apple TV. There’s no word yet on exactly what’s included with the update, but because it’s an x.x.1 bump, it likely includes some fixes for any bugs that’ve popped up since the Apple TV’s launch at the end of October.
To grab this update, head into the Settings app on your Apple TV. While this update may not be super exciting to any early Apple TV adopters, Apple is already testing a tvOS 9.1 update with developers, and that one ought to bring some more notable changes than tvOS 9.0.1.
Did you buy a new Apple TV? If so, what do you think of it so far?
