Remember last year when BLU introduced the Studio 7.0, an Android smartphone with a 7-inch display? Well today the company introduced that device’s successor, and just as with the last model, this one’s got a 7-inch screen.
The BLU Studio 7.0 LTE features a 7-inch 1280x720 display, up from the last model’s 1024x600 screen resolution, as well as 8-megapixel rear and 2-megapixel front cameras. Powering the Studio 7.0 LTE is a Snapdragon 410 processor paired with 1GB of RAM and a 3700mAh battery. BLU has thrown in 16GB of storage and a microSD slot, as well.
One other notable addition to the Studio 7.0 LTE is right in its name. The Studio 7.0 LTE includes LTE connectivity, with support for bands 2, 3, 4, 7, 12, 17, and 28. The original Studio 7.0 only offered top cellular speeds of HSPA+ 21Mbps.
If carrying around a 7-inch smartphone sounds like something you’d be into, you can order the BLU Studio 7.0 LTE from Amazon right now. The Android 5.1. device is being sold for $199 unlocked and is available in Midnight Grey, Ceramic White, Rose Gold, and Navy Blue color options.
It’s kind of crazy to think about carrying around a smartphone with a 7-inch display, but doing so could help you consolidate the the devices that you take with you everyday. Since you’ve got a device with a 7-inch screen that can make phone calls, you could simply carry that rather than lugging around both a phone and a tablet.
