UPDATE: The first iOS 9.2 beta includes tweaks to the Safari View Controller, which lets third-party apps use an in-app browser based on Safari, and so it can use Safari features, too.
While us regular folk are just now sinking our teeth into iOS 9.1 and the new emoji that it brought, Apple is giving developers a new version of iOS to tinker with.
The first iOS 9.2 beta is now available in Apple’s Developer Center. The update is build 12C5055d, and it’s available to the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.
Because this is the first iOS 9.2 beta and it was just released, it’s not yet known exactly what iOS 9.2 includes. If the past is any indication, though, more details on the update will come out soon as folks install the update and dive into it.
