Nearly one month after its official reveal, we’re finally starting to get some information on when the LG V10 will be available from US carriers.
AT&T and T-Mobile have both revealed when they plan to begin selling LG’s newest Android phone. The V10 will be available from AT&T’s online store starting October 27, with in-store availability planned for November 6. Here’s how AT&T’s pricing breaks down:
AT&T notes that there’s an LG V10 promotion going on that’ll get you a 200GB microSD card, extra battery, and a battery charging cradle if you buy a V10 between October 30 and November 15. The official website for the promo — which doesn’t appear to be working as of this writing — can be found here.
AT&T also reaffirmed its plans to carry the LG G Vista 2. This stylus-equipped Android phone will go on sale on November 6 with a 5.7-inch 1280x720 display, octa-core Snapdragon 617 processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, a microSD slot, 13-megapixel rear and 5-megapixel front cameras, a removable 3000mAh battery, ad Android 5.1. Here’s what the pricing for the G Vista 2 looks like:
Finally, T-Mobile has confirmed its own LG V10 launch plans. T-Mo will begin sales of the V10 online on October 28, with in-store availability to follow on October 30. T-Mobile will offer two buying options for the V10:
The LG V10 has a couple claims to fame. The first is its dual display setup, which includes a main 5.7-inch 2560x1440 display and a secondary 2.1-inch 160x1040 secondary display above it. You can use that secondary display in an always-on mode to show things like the date, time, weather, and battery life, and it can also be used to show things like app shortcuts and music controls.
The second main draw of the LG V10 are its cameras. The V10 has two 5-megapixel shooters on its face; you can use one to take a regular selfie or both to capture a 120-degree wide-angle shot. The rear camera is a 16-megapixel shooter with an f/1.8 aperture. The V10’s got a lot of video-focused features to take advantage of that rear camera, like a Manual Video Mode that’ll let you tweak things like ISO and white balance, as well as a Multi-View Recording that’ll capture video using all three cameras at once.
Packed inside of the V10’s body is a hexa-core Snapdragon 808 processor, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage, a microSD slot, LTE, NFC, a removable 3000mAh battery, and a fingerprint sensor. All of those goodies are wrapped into a body with a stainless steel frame and a Dura Skin coating on its bottom and sides that LG says enhances durability and grittiness.
