Latest HTC One A9 leak gives a clear look at the phone and its six color options

The HTC One A9 has appeared in a couple of image leaks so far, but to say that those photos were of poor quality would be generous. Thankfully, a new leak has surfaced today that gives us a solid look at the One A9.

Evan Blass has shared official-looking press renders of the HTC One A9 in six different colors: Acid Gold, Opal Silver, Deep Garnet, Carbon Gray, Rose Gold, and Cast Iron. The phones in today’s leak look similar to the ones that we’ve seen in the past, boasting a single camera and two antenna breaks on its backside, as well as a secondary camera and a fingerprint reader on the front.

The One A9 is expected to hit Sprint in early November. Its spec list is rumored to include a 5-inch 1920x1080 AMOLED display, Snapdragon 617 processor, 13-megapixel rear and 4-megapixel UltraPixel front cameras, 2GB of RAM, a fingerprint reader, and a metal chassis that’s around 7mm thick. The A9 is expected to come with 16GB of storage included, but you should be able to expand upon that with a microSD card. Rumors have also suggested that it’ll come preloaded with Android 6.0 beneath HTC’s Sense 7 UI.

While its spec list may not be quite as high-end as some folks would like, the HTC One A9 looks like a nice smartphone. It’s got a clean, attractive design — though that bottom bezel with the fingerprint reader looks a tad large — and its spec list, while mid-range, seems perfectly respectable for most folks.

If the One A9 is indeed going to launch in early November, we should get an official announcement sometime in the next month or so, so stay tuned.
