There’s been a lot of focus on HTC’s One A9 lately, with leaks allegedly revealing the phone’s looks and specs. While the A9 is expected to have mid-range specs, it purportedly has a design that’s a bit different than past HTC phones, which perhaps explains the interest in it. And now a new leak claims to offer another look at that design.
An image shared by FrAndroid claims to show the front of the HTC One A9. The device is white, so we can see more details of its front than the black device that leaked out last month. In the new leak, we can see the same large space between the HTC logo and the bottom of the phone that was in the last leak, but this time we can see what might be a fingerprint reader similar to the HTC One M9+.
Also included in this leak is a front-facing camera that’s in the same place as last month’s leak, as well as antenna breaks that start on the side and wrap around the back of the phone. Those antenna breaks were also present in the past One A9 leak.
So yeah, there are definitely some characteristics shared between today’s alleged One A9 leak and the one that we saw last month. It’s also worth noting, though, that these leaks could be fakes conjured up by folks that just want to mess with people. The phone looks a bit like the iPhone 6, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing. We’ll have to wait for the phone to be official before making any judgments about how it looks.
The HTC One A9 is said to have a 5-inch 1920x1080 AMOLED display, Snapdragon 617 processor, 13-megapixel rear and 4-megapixel UltraPixel front cameras, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, a microSD slot, fingerprint reader, and a 2150mAh battery.
