Android One is growing again today with a new device that’s launching in Spain and Portugal.
The BQ Aquaris A4.5 has a 4.5-inch 960x540 display on its face and a quad-core MediaTek MT6735M processor at its heart. Also included is 16GB of storage (10.5GB available to the user), microSD slot, 1GB of RAM, a 2470mAh battery, 4G LTE, dual SIM slots, and 8-megapixel rear and 5-megapixel front cameras.
On the software side, the Aquaris 4.5 runs Android 5.1.1 out of the box. And because it’s an Android One phone, it’ll get Android OS updates soon after they’re released for two years.
The BQ Aquaris A4.5 can now be had from BQ’s online shop in Spain for €169.90 ($194 USD), and from BQ’s Portuguese shop for €179.90 ($205 USD). The Aquaris A4.5 looks like a nice enough Android One phone, offering a simple and clean design. And while the A4.5 may not have as high-res a display as some other recent Android One offerings, it does include 4G LTE connectivity.
