There are also some pre-orders to be aware of. AT&T, Sprint, and Verizon will begin taking pre-orders for both phones today at 3:00 pm ET. Sprint also says that pre-ordered phones will start shipping on August 14.

One other thing: Some trade-in offers. Sprint will give you can get a guaranteed credit of at least $200 when they trade in a working smartphone for a Note 5 or S6 edge+. You’ll get an early upgrade at 12 months and a free Galaxy Tab 4 with activation and two-year agreement, as well. Meanwhile, Verizon will also give you a minimum $200 credit when you trade in a working smartphone and buy a Note 5 or S6 edge+. Both Sprint and Verizon's offers will be available "for a limited time." And finally, AT&T says that you can get a $200 minimum instant credit or promotion card when you trade-in an "eligible smartphone" and buy a Note 5 or S6 edge+ on AT&T Next.
