With just days to go before Samsung’s Galaxy Note 5 event, the rumor mill continues to feed us info about the upcoming Android phablet.
New images that purportedly show the Galaxy Note 5’s retail packaging have made their way online. The original photos have been deleted from Facebook, but because this is the internet, they’ve been saved elsewhere. Unsurprisingly, the packaging looks like the Galaxy S6’s, listing the device’s name and storage on its front and some specs on the back. According to the Note 5’s box, the phone inside has an octa-core processor, 4GB of RAM, 16-megapixel rear and 5-megapixel front cameras, wireless charging, 32GB of storage, and a 5.7-inch 2560x1440 display.
Additionally, some hands-on photos of the Note 5 have apparently made their way online. The photos offer clear looks at both the Note 5 and Galaxy S6 edge+ and appear to have been taken inside a retail store. The devices look similar to the ones that we’ve seen in past leaks, but hey, who’s going to turn down another clear look at what could end up being two of the biggest Android phones of 2015?
Samsung’s holding an event on August 13, and it’s widely expected that we’ll see both the Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 edge+ debut there. And while the phones have already been leaked to death, it’ll still be exciting to see them made officially official because then we’ll actually get to handle them ourselves. Samsung’s also teased a mysterious third device for its event, so there’s that to look forward to if you’re not interested in either of their new phones.
