A number of rumors about the iPhone 6s have been circulating online for the past few weeks. These rumors vary greatly and range from the device’s storage capacity, new colors, and even a wireless charging feature. Another rumor believes that the iPhone 6s is currently in production stage as it is getting ready for its September launch. To support this rumor, photos of what appears to be the iPhone 6s’ front panel have leaked online and taken the internet by storm.
The photos were initially published by a French website called nowhereelse and states that it was sent by an “informant.” These images show the front panel of the device as they sit on a factory floor awaiting for its attachment to their rear shells. The panels greatly resemble the iPhone 6, so it actually makes sense if it were the iPhone 6s model. Considering Apple usually focuses on the internals on their “S” model upgrades, the physical design of the iPhone 6s would still remain the same.
Apart from sending out these photos, the source could not verify whether or not the iPhone 6s will be equipped with Force Touch technology. It is also unsure whether or not this front panel will be built with sapphire crystal material.
Despite these affirmations, many can’t help but wish the rumors on the next iPhone’s specs would be true—particularly its inclusion of a 12MP camera, 2GB of RAM, an A9 processor, and storage capacity that starts at 32GB. Until Apple finally releases information about the upcoming iPhone 6s, the specs continue to remain a mystery.
