ZTE Boost Max+ is an Android 5.1 phablet that costs $199.99

A year and a half after launching the Boost Max, ZTE and Boost Mobile are introducing a plus-ified version of their Android phablet.

The ZTE Boost Max+ is now available from Boost Mobile for $199.99. It’s got quite a few upgrades over its predecessor, including double the RAM and Android 5.1.

Starting at the front, the Boost Max+ has a 5.7-inch 1280x720 display and 1-megapixel camera, and around back is an 8-megapixel shooter. Inside of the Boost Max+ there’s a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, a microSD slot, and a 3400mAh battery. Powering the whole package is Android 5.1 Lollipop.

One other detail worth noting is that the Boost Max+ has a starting price that’s $100 less than the original Boost Max. The Boost Max+ offers a respectable feature set for $199 without a commitment, and so if you’re on Boost Mobile and are in the hunt for a phablet, ZTE’s new handset could be worth a look.
