We’ve heard rumor after rumor about the Galaxy S6 edge Plus, a device that’s expected to be a bigger version of Samsung’s Galaxy S6 edge. But today we’re finally getting what may be our first good look at the unannounced Android phone.
Images posted by All About Samsung claim to show a dummy model of the “Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+”. The unit is just about as tall as a Galaxy Note 4, which makes sense since the GS6e+ is rumored to have a 5.7-inch display, just like the Note 4. Besides the larger display, the Galaxy S 6 edge+ looks pretty much like a standard Galaxy S6 edge, offering a dual curve display, physical home button, and a rear squircle camera housing.
The Galaxy S6 edge+ is expected to debut alongside the Galaxy Note 5 on August 12. The phone will reportedly include 32GB of storage, 16-megapixel rear and 5-megapixel front cameras, a 3000mAh battery, and Android 5.1.1. So long as the leaks pan out, it should be a good option for folks that want to try Samsung’s dual curved edge display but with a screen that’s larger than 5.1 inches
