Take note, Android users, because there’s a new version of the Google Play app that’s rolling out with a couple of tweaks that you may want to be aware of.
Googler Kirill Grouchnikov took to Google+ earlier today to tease two new features that are included in the new version of the Google Play app that’ll be rolling out soon. First up is a new page transition for kids characters that, when you tap the icon, will slide it up to the middle of the character’s page.
The other change involves the “What’s New” section of updated apps. The change is a small one, but the color of the box is a slightly lighter shade of green, and it’s been extended to the corners of the display. Additionally, th text in the box has changed from black to a dark green, and there’s an explosion bullet point at the top of the window.
These changes are small ones, but if you’re a stickler for details like me, then you’re glad to be aware of them. And while Grouchnikov only says that the updated Google Play app will roll out “soon,” the folks at APK Mirror already have the file ready for you to load onto your Android device. You can grab it right here.
