Another day, another Amazon Fire phone discount.
Amazon is now offering its Fire phone for $179 unlocked and contract-free, a full $270 off of the device’s normal $449 asking price. As usual, the Fire phone also comes with a free year of Amazon Prime, which is worth $99 on its own and includes free two-day shipping, access to Amazon’s library of Prime music and video content, unlimited cloud photo storage, and more.
The Amazon Fire phone isn’t exactly one of the best Android phones that’ve been released in the past year, but at a contract-free price of $179 with a free year of Prime, you could probably do worse. And hey, at least you know that Amazon is working on a Fire OS 5 update that’ll bring its software platform up to Android 5.0 Lollipop.
