Apple Watch pre-orders will start at 12:01 am PT on April 10

We’ve known for nearly a month now that pre-orders for the Apple Watch will start on April 10, but now Apple has revealed the exact moment that you’ll be able to reserve one of its smartwatches for yourself.

Apple’s online store was recently updated to say that pre-orders for the Apple Watch will begin “after 12:01 am PDT” on April 10. That means that you’ll be able to pre-order an Apple Watch at 12:01 am PT, 2:01 am CT, and 3:01 am ET on April 10.

As a quick refresher, the aluminum Apple Watch Sport starts at $349 for the 38mm version and $399 for the 42mm model. Meanwhile, the stainless steel Apple Watch starts at $549 for the 38mm version and $599 for the 42mm variant. Finally, the gold Apple Watch Edition starts at $10,000 for the 38mm model and $12,000 for the 42mm version. The most expensive Apple Watch is the 38mm Apple Watch Edition with a Modern Buckle, which’ll set you back a cool $17,000.

Apple regularly kicks off pre-orders for its major new products at 12:01 am PT on the day of the pre-sale. For example, it did so back on September 12 for the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. That’s why it’s not surprising to see that Apple Watch pre-orders will start at 12:01 am PT on April 10. But hey, at least now we know for sure exactly when you’ll be able to reserve yourself an Apple Watch.

It’s also worth noting that if you’re still unsure about the Apple Watch, you’ll be able to make an appointment at your local Apple Store to try one on starting April 10.
