After confirming its plans to launch the LG G Flex 2 back in January, U.S. Cellular has finally come forward with its full release plans for LG’s latest curvy Android smartphone.
U.S. Cellular will begin sales of the LG G Flex 2 on Thursday, March 26. The device will be available in Platinum Silver at a price of $0 down and 20 monthly payments of $31.50 each. The G Flex 2 will also be available for $149.99 with a two-year contract.
The U.S. Cellular version of the LG G Flex 2 is the same as the model that was announced back in January. That means that it’s got a 5.5-inch curved 1920x1080 P-OLED screen, Snapdragon 810 processor, 13-megapixel rear camera with Laser Auto Focus, a 2.1-megapixel front camera, 3000maH battery, 32GB of storage, a microSD slot, and Android 5.0. The original G Flex never made it to U.S. Cellular’s shelves, so it’s nice to see the new model launching there and giving USCC customers the chance to see what a curvy smartphone is all about.
