The next major manufacturer to parade out some new hardware at MWC 2015 is Alcatel Onetouch.
The Alcatel Onetouch Idol 3 is a new Android 5.0 smartphone that’s actually going to be available in two screen sizes: 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch. Here’s how the two different models break down specs-wise:
Idol 3 4.7
Idol 3 5.5
There are two other big features found in both Idol 3 models that Alcatel Onetouch is touting. The first are dual front-facing speakers with JBL Clari-Fi technology that Alcatel says will provide a “3D surround sound experience.” The other interesting feature is that both phones are 100 percent reversible, so you can actually grab the devices upside down and the software will adjust.
Both versions of the Alcatel Onetouch Idol 3 will be sold unlocked in the U.S. The larger model will cost less than $250, while the smaller one will have a price tag less than $200.
