LG teased in late January that the Lollipop update for the G3 was “coming soon,” and it looks like the company wasn’t kidding around.
Several AT&T LG G3 owners are reporting that they’re getting an update to Android 5.0.1 today. The update weighs in at 689.53MB, but as of this writing neither AT&T nor LG have made any official announcements regarding the rollout, so it’s not clear what other tweaks might be included.
A couple of users have reported some issues related to Google Play Services after installing the update, so if that sounds like something you’d prefer to avoid, it might be best to hold off on the update for now. If that’s a risk that you’re willing to take, grab your LG G3 and head into Settings > General > About phone > Software update.
