After kicking off pre-orders for its new V2 Android phone earlier this week, Saygus has announced that it’s extended the pre-order window.
Saygus pinged me today to say that it has extended the pre-order window for the V2 through Saturday, February 7, at 11:59 pm MST (1:59 am EST on February 8). The company also notes that it’s received orders for the V2 from 45 different countries.
The Saygus V2 is a pretty well-specced Android phone, boasting a 5-inch 1920x1080 display, 21-megapixel rear and 13-megapixel front cameras, a 2.5GHz quad-core processor, 3GB of RAM, and a 3100mAh removable battery that supports Qi wireless charging. The Android 4.4.4 device also comes with 64GB of storage, but if you need a bit more, you can boost that up to 320GB using the two microSDXC slots.
Pricing for the Saygus V2 is set at $549 for those that pre-registered, and those folks also get an additional battery and a customized glass screen protector. If you didn’t pre-register, your price for the V2 will be $599.
Have any of you sprung for the Saygus V2? If you haven’t, does this pre-order window extension have you considering a purchase?
