There are a ton of weather apps available on most smartphone platforms, but only a handful of them are really good and worth your time. Yahoo Weather is one of those apps, and today both the Android and iOS versions of Yahoo Weather have been updated.
Yahoo says that its Yahoo Weather app for Android has been updated with animated effects that show rain, snow, fog, heat, lightning, and frost. All of these animations help to better give you an idea of what the weather outside of your door is like.
Meanwhile, the iOS version of Yahoo Weather is getting an update that brings improved designs for the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, new lightning and frost animations (it got the other animations in September), and some unspecified bug fixes and performance improvements.
