Want a smartphone that’s running Android 5.0 Lollipop? Today you can get one on the cheap.
As part of its “Green Monday Deal Days” promotion, Amazon is now selling the Moto G (2nd Gen.) for $149.99, which is $30 less than its standard asking price. The sale applies to the version with 8GB of storage and is available to both the global GSM and U.S. GSM models. The difference between those two units is that the U.S. GSM model works on AT&T and T-Mobile 3G, while the global model operators on AT&T 3G and T-Mobile 2G.
The Moto G (2nd Gen.) was recently updated to Android 5.0, and because this is Motorola we’re talking about, the phone runs a vanilla version of Lollipop. This is a pretty nice deal on an already affordable handset, and if you’re worried about the 8GB of built-in storage, don’t be: the phone has a microSD card slot, too.
