Black Friday is fast approaching, and as a result there are deals a plenty being announced. The latest company to share their Black Friday plans is a firm with “Black” built into its name.
BlackBerry has announced that it’s cutting the price of the BlackBerry Passport for Black Friday. The Passport is now available in the U.S. from Amazon and Shop BlackBerry for $499, which is $100 off its regular asking price. Canadians can snag a Passport for $599.
If you’d prefer a full-touch phone, the unlocked GSM BlackBerry Z30 is now available for $225 in the U.S. and $249 in Canada.
Finally, BlackBerry is rolling out new financing options for its smartphones. BlackBerry is teaming up with PayPal to let buyers of unlocked phones spread the cost of their device out over six monthly payments using PayPal Credit.
Overall it looks like there are some pretty nice BlackBerry deals to be had this week. Getting a Passport for $499 unlocked is a good deal considering that it launched just two months ago, and while the Z30 is a bit longer in the tooth, it’s still a big ol’ full-touch BlackBerry for less than $250.
Are you going to be picking up a new BlackBerry this holiday season?
