Remember that Ellipsis 7 tablet that Verizon released last year? Well Ol’ Red is back again with a new model, and this one’s a bit bigger.

The Verizon Ellipsis 8 is, you guessed it, an 8-inch tablet that runs Android  and is available starting today. The Ellipsis 8 is priced at $149.99 with a two-year commitment, $0 down and 24 payments of $10.41 with Verizon Edge or $249.99 without a contract.

Spec-wise, the Verizon Ellipsis 8 packs an 8-inch 1280x800 display, 1.5GHz quad-core processor, 5-megapixel rear camera, front-facing camera, microSD card slot, 4G LTE and a 5000mAh battery.

Like the Ellipsis 7 before it, the Ellipsis 8 looks like a decent option for folks that want a small, affordable tablet. The good news is that it looks like it runs a fairly clean version of Android, save for a few preinstalled apps.
