The Motorola Nexus 6 and Samsung Galaxy Note 4 are two of the biggest (literally) phablets of 2014, and a video that’s surfaced today gives us a nice look at how they stack up against one another.

Carphone Warehouse has posted a brief video that shows the Nexus 6 and Galaxy Note 4 next to each other. The Nexus 6 looks a tad larger all around than its S Pen-toting phablet counterpart, which isn’t terribly surprising considering the Nexus 6’s larger display and curved back. The man in the demonstration also touches a bit on the features of both phones and says that while the Nexus line isn’t typically known for having good cameras, the Nexus 6’s shooter isn’t bad.

Later on in the clip, the software of both phones becomes the focus. This means that we get another look at Android 5.0 Lollipop in action. Overall there’s nothing shocking to be seen, but it’s nice to get another peek at Lollipop ahead of its official release.

The Nexus 6 will go up for preorder on October 29 at $649 for the 32GB model and $699 for the 64GB model. It’ll launch in early November. Meanwhile, the Note 4 launched last week. Both phones will be available on the five major US carriers. 

Obviously we’ll have to wait until we get our hands on the Nexus 6 to make any judgments about its performance, but it’s got a strong competitor in the Note 4. Of course, the Nexus 6 has a vanilla Android experience and speedy updates on its side, so that may be the device to go with if you value experience Android as Google intended.
