Heads up, Verizon customers, because you’ve got some new XLTE coverage headed your way on this fine Thursday.

Verizon has announced that its XLTE service is now live in a handful of new markets across the country. They are:

  • Adrian, Mich.
  • Anniston, Ala.
  • Big Spring, Texas
  • Bradford, Pa.
  • Dubuque, Iowa
  • Laurel, Miss.
  • Lufkin-Nacogdoches, Texas
  • Mankato, Minn.
  • Menominee, Mich.

Verizon’s XLTE service is an improved version of its standard 4G LTE coverage that offers double the bandwidth and faster peak data speeds. You’ll need an XLTE-compatible phone to take advantage of the service, but most recent devices support XLTE, including the iPhone 5s and 5c, iPhone 6 and 6 Plus, Galaxy S 4 and S5 and the Galaxy Note 3 and Note 4.
