Nokia Lumia 735 tipped for Verizon Wireless launch, but it may not happen until 2015

Good news, Windows Phone fans on Verizon: a new Nokia Lumia phone may be headed your way! Bad news, Windows Phone fans on Verizon: that new phone may not launch until 2015!

According to the folks at WPCentral, the Nokia Lumia 735 will be sold by Verizon Wireless. Unfortunately, it’s said that Verizon won’t begin selling the Lumia 735 until 2015. It’s not clear exactly why this is the case, but two possible reasons are given: troubles with Verizon’s CDMA/LTE network, or Verizon just being Verizon and doing whatever it pleases.

Verizon isn’t exactly the greatest US carrier to be on for Windows Phone fans, so it’s exciting to hear that another Nokia Lumia phone is in the works for Ol’ Red. The downside is that it may be several months before that phone is released, at which point it won’t exactly be the new hotness anymore.

While we wait to hear more about Verizon’s Lumia 735 plans, you can check out our hands-on video with Nokia’s new handset down below!
