The iPhone started life as an AT&T exclusive in 2007, but since then it’s steadily made its way onto more and more carriers. Recent years have even seen iPhone models launch on prepaid US carriers, and that trend is continuing this year with the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus.
Boost Mobile pinged us this morning to announce that it will begin selling the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus one week from today on October 17. Pricing for Boost's new iPhones is as follows:
- iPhone 6 16GB: $549.99
- iPhone 6 64GB: $649.99
- iPhone 6 128GB: $749.99
- iPhone 6 Plus 16GB: $649.99
- iPhone 6 Plus 64GB: $749.99
- iPhone 6 Plus 128GB: $849.99
Carrier exclusivity, at least when it comes to major smartphone releases, are largely a thing of the past at this point. Still, it’s great to see big devices like Apple’s new iPhones hitting so many operators, including prepaid Boost Mobile.
