We already know that HTC is holding an event on October 8 at which we’ll likely see the RECamera made official. That doesn’t mean that the entire event is spoiled, though, because it looks like HTC may have something else up its sleeve for the shindig.
HTC’s official Twitter account just sent out a tweet that reads “Don’t adjust your screen. Just focus on the date. #HTCLive,” along with a GIF of an HTC One (M8) and the date “10.08.”
We’ll have to wait until Wednesday before we learn exactly what HTC’s got planned, but it’s possible that we could see that new HTC One (M8) variant that’s been leaking lately. The device, codenamed HTC M8 EYE, is rumored to look similar to the One (M8) but feature a 13-megapixel Duo Camera on its backside rather than the 4-megapixel UltraPixel setup that the current One (M8) has.
HTC’s big event is just two days away, so it won’t be long before all is revealed! What do you think HTC is teasing in its new GIF?
