Samsung officially introduced the Galaxy Alpha a little over a month ago, and in the process it debuted a new design that included a metal trim, something that many folks had been hoping after experiencing Samsung’s constant use of plastic in its flagships. Unfortunately, Samsung didn’t say where in the world the Galaxy Alpha will launch, but you can have one right now if you live in the US and have $700 burning a hole in your pocket.
Expansys-USA is now selling the Dazzling White version of the Samsung Galaxy Alpha for a cool $699.99. The retailer says that it’s got 14 units in stock as of this writing. In exchange for your 7 Benjamins, you’ll get a device with the following specs:
For those of you in the US, this version of the Galaxy Alpha should play nicely with AT&T’s 3G network as well as T-Mobile’s refarmed 3G coverage.
Since it’s unclear when the Galaxy Alpha will make its way to US shores, if it ever even will, this may be your only opportunity to snatch up Samsung’s 4.7-inch metallic wonder. The asking price may seem a bit much for some, but if you’re accustomed to paying full retail price for your smartphones, then you should be used to seeing pricing like this.
What do you think of the Samsung Galaxy Alpha? Would you use it as your daily driver?
