LG’s introduced a smattering of new hardware recently, including the G3 Beat and G3 Stylus, and now we’ve got another “G” device on our hands.
The LG Gx2 — no, not the G2x — is now officially official. The device is a follow-up to last year’s LG Gx and features a 5.7-inch “HD” display. Other Gx2 features include 8-megapixel rear and 1.3-megapixel front cameras, a 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 8GB of storage and 1.5GB of RAM. The Gx2 is powered by a removable 3200mAh battery.
Looking at its design and its spec list, the LG Gx2 looks like the South Korean version of the LG G Vista that’s sold by AT&T and Verizon in the U.S. While its entry-level specs aren’t a match for the flagship LG G3, the Gx2 could be a nice option for folks that want a big ol’ screen for a not-so-big price tag.
