If you use Pushbullet to share links and images with your Android device, you may want to head into the Play Store and check for app updates right now, because a new version of Pushbullet is now rolling out with a pretty neat feature.
Pushbullet announced today that the new version of its Android app includes “Universal Copy & Paste.” As the name suggests, Universal Copy & Paste lets users copy a link or portion of text on one device and then paste it into an app on another device. Check out the video below to see the feature in action.
In order to use Universal Copy & Paste right now, you’ll need an Android device with the Pushbullet app as well as the Windows desktop app. Pushbullet says that it’s working to add UC&P support to its iPhone and Mac apps and that “it won’t be much longer” before the feature goes live on those platforms.
Pushbullet was a pretty nice app before today’s update, and the addition of Universal Copy & Paste has made it even better. It’s great to see new features continually being added, and it’ll be interesting to see what else the Pushbullet team comes up with next.
If you don’t already have Pushbullet on your Android device, you can correct that by hitting up the Play Store.
