T-Mobile HTC One (M8) owners, it looks like your week is getting off to a great start.
T-Mobile is now pushing out the Android 4.4.3 update to its version of the HTC One (M8). Several T-Mo One (M8) users have already received the update, which is software version 2.22.531.5 and weighs in at 582.04MB. Here’s what you can expect to find once you get the update installed:
System improvements
- Android 4.4.3
- Security fixes
Performance optimization
- Wi-Fi
- Bluetooth
- Mobile network
- Application updates
Camera
- Gallery (Image Match)
- Settings (Power History)
- HTC Sync Manager
Sense experience optimization
- HTC BoomSound
- Extreme Power Saving Mode
- Motion Launch
- Quick Setting
While some T-Mo One (M8) folk may be disappointed that they’re being updated to Android 4.4.3 and not 4.4.4, it’s worth noting that HTC has included the 4.4.4 security fixes into its 4.4.3 update. That means that you’re getting all of the goodness of 4.4.4 without actually being bumped up to that version.
If you’re rocking a T-Mobile HTC One (M8), you can check for this update by heading into Settings > About > Software updates > Check Now.
