HTC One (M8) for Windows revealed in leaked press image

HTC is holding an event on August 19 at which it’s expected that the company will unveil the HTC One (M8) for Windows, a Windows Phone version of its Android-based One (M8) flagship. We won’t have to wait until the event to get a peek at the device, though, as the rumor mill has supplied an image of it today.

A press render of the HTC One (M8) for Windows has been discovered on Verizon's own servers. As expected, the handset looks fairly similar to the Android One (M8), save for its Windows Phone 8.1 OS. We can also see that the Phone tile has Verizon Wireless branding, backing up the rumor that the One (M8) for Windows will be sold by Ol’ Red in the U.S. Also included are HTC Camera and TV apps.

The rumor mill has suggested that HTC and Verizon could launch the One (M8) for Windows on August 21, just two days after its unveiling. It’s unclear how much the phone will cost, but with its high-quality build and specs, the One (M8) for Windows is likely to become one of the top Windows Phones available when it does arrive on shelves. Get excited, Verizon customers, because a quality WP8.1 device is headed your way.
