Not running the iOS 8 beta on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch? Don’t despair, friend, because Apple’s got some new software for you to enjoy too.
Apple is now rolling iOS 7.1.2 out to iPhone, iPad and iPod touch devices everywhere. The update includes iBeacon connectivity and stability improvements, a fix for a bug that affected data transfer with select third-party accessories and a correction for an issue with Mail attachments.
This update may not be quite as significant as the iOS 8 update that’s currently being tested by developers, but hey, this iOS 7.1.2 update is better than no update at all. If you’ve got an iPhone, iPad or iPod touch laying around, you can check for this update by heading into Settings > General > Software Update.
Be sure to give us a shout when iOS 7.1.2 hits your device!
