Google's bag of mobile tricks is growing once again, this time with a new feature that’ll likely please all of you music fans.
Google recently announced a new Android feature that’ll let you hop directly to an artist’s page in a music app. When you search for a musician in Google, you’ll be presented with a list of apps in which you can listen to his or her music. Tapping on the link will take you to that artist’s page in the app.
Google says that the feature is currently available to Android users and that it works with iHeartRadio, Google Play Music, Rdio, Spotify, TuneIn and YouTube. El Goog also says that it plans to continue to expand the feature in the future.
While you may not always be hunting for music to listen to when you’re searching for a musician online, but seeing these links may get you in the mood to listen to some tunes. In that case, the quick links will come in handy, kicking you straight to that artist’s page for some easy listening.
