LG G Watch purportedly photographed while hanging out in the wild

Just days after some LG G Watch spec details reportedly appeared on the German Play Store, an image that claims to show the wearable in the wild has surfaced.

Reddit user scuderiadank has shared a photo that purportedly shows an actual LG G Watch. The image is said to have been posted to Google+ today and quickly removed, but not before scuderiadank was able to capture a screenshot of it.

The device in the photo has a square display and what looks to be a black rubberized band. We can see that it’s plugged in to something, likely resting on a dock or clip that’s hooked up to the contacts on the G Watch’s backside. The screen on the G Watch reads “Install Android Wear on your phone” and “G Watch B165.”

LG previously said that the G Watch would make its big debut in the second quarter. Considering that the second quarter is quickly coming to an end and that Google I/O is next week, it seems likely that the Life’s Good crew will bring their first Android Wear device to I/O. Until then, at least we’ve got images like this one to keep us occupied.
