Rocking one of Samsung’s latest Gear wearables on your wrist? If you answered “Yes” to that question and you live in the U.S., you’ll want to keep an eye out for an update that’s heading your way.
Samsung just pinged us to say that it’s now pushing an update to the Gear 2, Gear 2 Neo and Gear Fit that “improves the overall experience.” It does this by packing in quite a few tweaks and enhancements, such as a more accurate pedometer and a refreshed Sleep Mode that disables the wake-up feature, meaning that you can wear your Gear to bed and not be woken up by it.
The full changelog for these Gear updates looks like this:
Samsung says that Gear owners will receive a notification on their paired Galaxy phone or tablet when their wearable is ready to be updated. That means that you Gear folk are going to want to keep an eye on your paired device in the coming days, because this sounds like a pretty significant update.
Do any of you own one of Samsung’s Gear wearables? If you do, which do you have?
